Mona Lisa Variations.

An ongoing project transforming Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa as a way to test the breaking point between recognition and abstraction. Repetition plays a key role, exploring the idea of reworking the same image over and over again.  The project continues a long tradition of artists manipulating or appropriating the Mona Lisa, such as Andy Warhol and Marcel Duchamp.
